after a couple of months, I will post some news on here.

As most of you already figured out, we got a big donation from isaacsem (singapore), which permitted us to open a new ZM server in NEW YORK just before Christmas. As it is a windows hosting, some stuff initially didnt worked, but now it seems that all VIP features are finally fixed. The only thing still messed up is the scoreboard, but I hope to find some remedy for it, too.

Most of you found the new VIP commands: RR NAME (chat command) and GoThrough (console command to bind). They finnaly allows VIP players to play until the end of each round on every map (even behind airlocks).

Next change that expects us is the CHANGE OF IP of the european ZM 1 server. The process of switching game-provider already started with a TF2 server (css-friends.eu), in this weekend we are switching CS:S server and on end of MARCH comes the switch of ZM server. Our new game-provider is SPEED-HOUSING.DE (Germany). It should grand better PINGs for almost everybody (with exception of Czech Republic and Slovakia, but those pings to Germany are still very good.) Most of our players are from western europe, usa and russia. So I hope that the switch help to most of you a little.

After his vacation break on Eurocamp in toscana, in Dolomiti mountains in nord Italy and Jesolo on mediterran see, M4X is back! And with me, there are some changes on our ZM servers.

First of all, 2 new commands. When you are alone on a server, or up to 3 players, the ZM may write "human" to swap himself to a human survivors team. So they may go through the map and learn it, without a ZM and without zombies and traps.
When some other player likes to be ZombieMaster and the place of ZM is free, he may write "ZM" to swap himself to ZombieMaster role.

Second change: Some evolution of the TRIAL VIP. Now players may use trial for just 5 times by themselves. Real VIPs may give them trial up to 15 times on each server. So if real VIP players have some friends, they may use VIP function up to 45 times on all the servers together.

Like promised in the information email 2 days ago, today at 12:00 the first round of VIP contest got its winner!

 Noxus got his VIP2009 on July 21th with a donation of 10 euro, right after his start with the Zombie Master mod, directly on our zm-friends.eu servers. His real name is David Xie, 18 years old, living in Germany.

David, hope to see you often on our TF2 servers now!

The next ballot of another free Orange Box for our VIP members will take place on the end of vacations (first september days).

Note: I am going to vacations for 2 weeks now, so if there are some new donations in this time, you have to keep patience. I will probably not have an easy internet access in these days. Will try sometimes to check emails and enable new VIPs, but it can take some more time than usual. In a meantime all of you may use the !trial command to use most of VIP features during 20 game sessions. After 20 usages on every server the trial stops to work.
